This was the second lid stay I ordered because the first one I ordered the pin fell out that held the barrel on the arm. Then this one, 5 minutes after unpacking it, the pin that holds the arm to the main body fell out. So Ive yet to use it for the project I bought it for. I want to

superb hinges for a special piece

Excellent quality and subtle appeal once installed. Be aware that they require precise mortise for proper fit. Instructions are good and Brusso sells a jig for installation that I recommend. Expensive but worth it for custom work
