The BC-263 mortised ball catch, consisting of a brass cylinder with spring-loaded steel ball and a brass keeper, is used to secure cabinet doors. The grooved sides of each half, measuring 6 mm in diameter, provide grip when mounted and a reservoir for glue.

BC-263 Ball Catch

These are beautiful, and, if set just right, work fine. However it is difficult to get them just right. However a modification based on a small flange at the top end might allow for easier installation.

Great Hinges but….

Hinges are great. Solid and sweet movement with no wiggle. But..the **** are terrible. They snap easy when installing. I used callipers to measure exact width of barrel up and down the taper as well as the threads. Used the proper bit and made a pilot hole for the barrel and still broke 4 screws

1/4” bullet latch

This latch was to be used as a latch in a classic car glove box but regretfully it is much too small to work adequately. I should have not ordered it.
